Irving celebrated the opening of a new park designed for children with disabilities.
For three years, the city worked on this play area created specifically for children with disabilities. To accommodate to the needs of the children, the openings on the jungle gyms are larger, the ground is made of soft rubber, and the softball field is flat to help children with limited mobility.
The grand opening for Miracle Park included a ribbon-cutting and an inaugural softball game.
It"s worth saying that Irving is the latest North Texas city to build an all-accessible playground.
