Timber Creek (1-0) scored 24 points in a decisive second quarter. Millsap took control in that quarter, running for two scores and throwing for another. Max Patton was a favorite target for Millsap, finishing with 145 yards receiving.
Quarterback Jimmy Clark was efficient in the loss for Nimitz (0-1), finishing 15-of-22 for 425 yards and five touchdowns. Sam Berry had 223 yards receiving.
