Irving Police Arrests Suspect in Connection with Fatal Shooting at McDonald's

Irving police have made an arrest in the murder shooting case from last month outside the McDonald's on Highway 183 and Carl Rd.

Police issued a release stating that Brandon Temple, 34, was booked Thursday, a month to the day after the death of Christopher Guajardo.

Guajardo, 26, was found about 1 a.m. Aug. 4 lying in the parking lot not far from the drive-through window of the McDonald’s.

At the time, police said they were looking for a man and a woman seen arguing with the victim shortly before the shooting. They fled the scene in a red Kia Sportage, and police released surveillance images of the vehicle asking for help in identifying the suspects.

Irving Police did not mention anything about the unidentified woman.

Temple is being held in the Irving Jail on $1 million bail.
