This annual street festival in the heart of the Irving Heritage District celebrates the hometown feel of Irving. Every year thousands attend this family affair, featuring live music, the Manifolds on Main Street Car Show, free rides and activities for children, a wide selection of vendors and great tasting food. Parking and admission are free on both days. On Friday, Sept. 19, the festivities start with a variety of family-friendly activities. Enjoy live funk and R&B music as two popular bands perform on the Main Stage. A variety of food vendors will be on-site, with both chair and lawn seating available. For the first time, the Fun Zone will open Friday evening with free rides, activities and attractions for children throughout the evening.The fun continues on Saturday, Sept. 20. Watch live performances by country and rock bands on the Main Stage, browse the merchandise available from vendors in the Main Street Marketplace, and grab a bite to eat from one of the many food vendors that will be available. Don't miss the great local entertainment on the Children's Stage, located in the Fun Zone alongside free rides and attractions. Performances will include area dance teams and singers, magicians and more.The Manifolds on Main Street Car Show is an annual tradition, featuring custom and classic cars from the early 1900's to today. Running from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, this free car show is a favorite to many. Car show entry information will be available online in mid-summer.
