Texas Home & Garden Show at Las Colinas

LAS COLINAS, TX (January 2015). . . . . . The Texas Home & Garden Show at Las Colinas will be the site for the announcement that the Patterson Family’s home, built in 1941, will be renovated including the addition of a room.  Their only request was for a new air conditioner. While fighting a fire, Jeff Patterson suffered massive injuries including third-degree burns over 45% of his body.  During Jeff’s months in the hospital his wife Tina was constantly by his side. While in the hospital Tina discovered she had colon cancer requiring immediate treatment. Jeff and Tina are both home recovering. They also have two small children.

 

At 1:30 PM on Saturday, January 10th at the Texas Home & Garden Home Show at Las Colinas, Irving Convention Center, 500 W. Las Colinas Blvd., Texas Home Improvement’s (THI) Jim Dutton will make the announcement with the Patterson family.

 

The Texas Home Improvement team will be adding a new master bath, a utility room and completely renovating the kitchen and bathrooms.  Other upgrades will include restoration services by Mr. Restore, building plans by Scott Roberts of Creative Architects, a brand new Carrier Air Conditioning System by Advent Air, total re-wire of the house provided by Caddell Electric, foundation repair by Du West Foundation Repair, all new double pane windows and doors provided by Americas Choice Windows, termite treatment provided by Eco Safe Pest Control, all the walls will be insulated by Foammywalls.com, roof on the new addition provided by Arrington Roofing, cabinets provided by Cabinets To Go, garage door repair and update by Garage Depot USA, new shutters by Sunburst Shutters, and flooring provided by Floor and Décor. Total estimate of the completely donated remodel will exceed $122,000.00.

 

The 4th Annual Texas Home & Garden Show at Las Colinas will open Friday, January 9 through Sunday January 11, 2015.  Show times are Friday 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM; Saturday 10:00 AM until 7:00 PM and Sunday 11:00 AM until 5:00 PM.  Tickets are $10 for Adults, Seniors and Military are $8.00; Children 14 and under FREE.  Tickets available at www.TexasHomeandGarden.com.
