The Irving High School team earned its highest point total in school history - 36,182.6 to finish seventh overall. Individually, Luis Govea earned a silver finish in Science and a bronze medal in Social Studies. In the "B" category, Charlie Abrego ranked fifth among all B category participants, garnering a gold medal in Language/Literature and a silver medal in Art. Roman Rangel won a gold medal for top C student at Irving High.
