Irving ISD has confirmed that Ahmed Mohamed has withdrawn from the school district. Ahmed's father met with the Superintendent yesterday after his son expressed no desire to return to MacArthur High School.
Mohamed is not sure if they will move out of the city. His family has invited him to move to other parts of the country.
There's been much talk around the country as to who is to blame for incidents last week that resulted in Ahmed's suspension from school and short arrest. Some blame school officials and police officers for over-reacting. Other's are blaming Ahmed for taking a home-made clock that looked like and sounded like a ticking bomb inside a suitcase.
