Police said an Irving police officer was injured while helping another driver Monday morning.
Irving police said the officer was helping a driver that had stopped on eastbound Texas 114 near Spur 348.
The officer sustained minor injuries. Details about the officer's condition were not released.
The incident caused the road to be blocked until after 10:30 a.m.
