Angela Long, who has served as principal of Irving ISD’s Townsell Elementary School since 2012, has been named principal of Davis Elementary School. Long began her educational career in 1998 as a teacher at Burnet Elementary School in Dallas ISD and then worked as an instructional specialist at Borman Elementary School in Denton ISD from 2005 to 2008. In 2008, she joined Irving ISD as the assistant principal for Thomas Haley Elementary School and was later promoted to principal of Townsell.
