The MacArthur boys’ golf team has won first place at the 7-6A district tournament. Team members are Tommy Rojo, Jinwook Lee, Chris De la Torre, Albert Jaramillo, and Ben Wickham. In addition, MacArthur’s Angelique Francis won the individual district title for the second straight year, leading the girls’ team to a second-place finish. Other team members are Montaha Ahmed, Kayley Giles, Kennedy Johnson and Madeline Leal.
The teams will compete at the regional golf tournaments next week.
The girls play April 24 and 25at Rolling Hills Country Club in Arlington while the boys play April 26 and 27 at Texas Star Golf Course in Euless.
