Singley Academy has been honored with the prestigious CREST (Counselors Reinforcing Excellence for Students in Texas) Award by the Texas School Counselor Association (TSCA). The award recognizes schools that exhibit exemplary counseling programs, showcasing a steadfast commitment to enhancing students' lives and achievements across academic, career, and personal social domains.
The CREST award evaluates counseling programs based on five key categories:
- Introduction to the school and the role of the professional school counselor
- Program implementation cycle
- Foundational components
- Four service delivery components
- Program curriculum
All CREST award winners, including Singley Academy, will be formally acknowledged during the upcoming annual TSCA conference scheduled for February.
