Southlake Police Seek Information on Hit-and-Run Incident Endangering Officers

Southlake Police are appealing for information after a hit-and-run incident endangered officers and others on Saturday night. The incident occurred around 11:25pm on March 23rd, as officers were investigating a possible DWI on a traffic stop along southbound Highway 360, just before the Grapevine/Euless split.

During the investigation, an unidentified dark-colored 4-door sedan, possibly an Audi, collided with the side of a parked squad car with its lights on. The sedan did not stop after the collision, and the license plate was not obtained. However, authorities noted that the vehicle has distinctive taillights and likely sustained damage to its passenger side.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported among the officers or any parties involved in the incident. Despite limited image quality, Southlake Police are urging anyone with information about the hit-and-run to come forward. Detective Mowdy can be contacted via email at dmowdy@ci.southlake.tx.us or by phone at 817-748-8129.
