On Sunday, April 21, 2024, just after 10:30 a.m., Garland Police Officers responded to a creek waterway near West Campbell Road and Water Oak Drive following a report of a deceased person found under a bridge.
The Garland Fire Department and Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office arrived on the scene to clear debris surrounding the body for a thorough investigation. Officers confirmed the individual to be an adult male.
At this stage, it is too early to determine any details about the circumstances leading to the person's death. Authorities are awaiting the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office to ascertain the cause of death and the identity of the individual.
