In a recent announcement, the Tarrant County District Attorney's Office disclosed that 18-year-old Simon Maceyra has been declared guilty and handed a 20-year prison sentence by a jury. The verdict came as a result of his involvement in possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance weighing between 200 grams and 400 grams. Additionally, Maceyra was instructed to pay a $15,000 fine.
The successful conclusion of this case owes much to the diligent efforts of the Fort Worth Police Department and its dedicated Narcotics Section.
The incident dates back to April 20, 2023, when Fort Worth Police Officers executed a narcotics search warrant at Maceyra's residence following an extensive investigation. During the operation, officers uncovered marijuana, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia on the premises.
Maceyra is currently incarcerated in Garza County.
