On June 11, 2024, at approximately 10:40 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 400 block of South Winnetka Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found Stephano Osorio, 23, and a 16-year-old male, both with gunshot wounds. Osorio succumbed to his injury, while the teenager was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
The suspect, identified as 20-year-old Salvador Martinez, was charged with Murder and taken to the Dallas County Jail. Martinez's bond has been at at $1 million.
The investigation revealed an ongoing argument between the victims and Martinez.
