On Friday morning, June 21st, Sansom Park police officers responded to a shooting in the 3100 block of Skyline Drive. Richard Applegate, aged 42, was shot and pronounced deceased at the scene.
The suspects are described as two young, possibly African American males, wearing hoodies and carrying backpacks. Both suspects were last seen fleeing on foot from the area.
The Sansom Park Police Department is asking everyone in the area of Skyline Drive, Crowley Street, Comanche Street, Cowden Street, Calloway Street, Joshua Court, and Jalah Court to check their video cameras for images or footage of persons walking or running around the area between 4:30 AM and 7:00 AM this morning, June 21st, 2024.
