On June 26, 2024, at approximately 3:30 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a call in the 1500 block of N. Haskell Avenue in Old East Dallas. Upon arrival, officers discovered an unresponsive woman inside an apartment. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded, but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Preliminary investigations determined that the woman died from homicidal violence. The investigation is ongoing and is documented under case number 098301-2024. The identity of the woman is being withheld pending family notifications.
