On July 4, 2024, at approximately 9:55 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 2100 block of 52nd Street near S. Lancaster Rd. in Cedar Crest. Upon arrival, officers found 46-year-old Hector Alvarez Rosales shot inside the home.
The preliminary investigation identified 26-year-old Angel Alejandro as the suspect who shot and killed Alvarez Rosales. The suspect and victim were known to one another.
An arrest warrant for Murder has been issued for Alejandro. The investigation is ongoing and documented under case number 102824-2024.
