On July 6, 2024, at approximately 3:20 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a welfare check in the 6300 block of Llano Avenue in the Lower Greenville area. Upon arrival, Dallas Fire Rescue forced entry into the home and discovered an unresponsive woman on the floor. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
On July 7, 2024, the Dallas County Medical Examiner classified the death as a homicide, and the investigation was reclassified as a murder. The case is documented under number 103775-2024.
The woman’s identity is being withheld pending family notifications.
