Fort Worth Police Search for Suspect in Armed Robbery of Construction Equipment

The Fort Worth Police Department is requesting assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an aggravated robbery. The incident occurred on July 12 at approximately 4:40 a.m. in the parking lot of the 3900 block of Hemphill. The victim, who was driving a pickup truck towing a flatbed construction trailer, was approached by a Hispanic male suspect armed with a handgun. The suspect ordered the victim out of the truck and drove away with both the vehicle and trailer heading north on Hemphill.

The stolen truck and trailer were located a few hours later parked southbound at the 3200 block of Ryan Avenue. Multiple generators and construction tools were reported missing from the trailer.

Surveillance footage captured the suspect walking in the vicinity for about an hour prior to the robbery.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his late 20s to 30s, standing between 5’07” and 5’10” with a medium build, bald head, possible facial hair, and potential tattoos on his left forearm. He was last seen wearing a yellow shirt, red shorts, and dark-colored slides.
