On July 17, 2024, at 10:48 pm, Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 3500 block of Munger Avenue in Old East Dallas. Upon arrival, officers found a man shot outside a building. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded, and the man was taken to a local hospital where he died.
There is no suspect description at this time. The man’s identity is not being released pending family notifications.

UPDATE: The victim has been identified as 23-year-old Charles Dennis III.
