The Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney's Office says that 52-year-old Allen Bolt has pled guilty to Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child Under the Age of 14 and was sentenced to 35 years in prison.
In January of 2023, Bolt messaged a chat line and disclosed that he had sexually abused a relative for many years when she was younger. An employee of the company that owns the chat line reported the message to police. An investigation was started by the Arlington Police Department and the Grand Prairie Police Department.
During interviews with Arlington Police Detectives, the victim said that the abuse happened from the ages of 7 to 12. Bolt was arrested on August 1st, 2023 and has been incarcerated at the Tarrant County Corrections Center since then.
The case was prosecuted by Tarrant County Assistant District Attorneys Jeanne Truglio and Chris DeWitt. The DA Investigator was Briant Thomas and Angela Stevens served as the Victim Coordinator.
