A Denton chiropractor is in custody facing five charges following an investigation by the Denton Police Department into allegations of sexual assault involving patients.
In June 2023, a woman reported to Denton PD that she had been sexually assaulted by Hector Reyes III during an appointment at his practice located on Lillian Miller Parkway. Later that month, a second woman came forward with similar allegations against Reyes.
The investigation led to the cases being presented to a Denton County Grand Jury on September 17, resulting in an indictment on five sexual assault charges, four of which pertain to acts reported in the first incident.
On September 19, the Denton County Sheriff’s Office arrested the 39-year-old Reyes at his business without incident. He has been booked into the Denton County Jail with a total bond set at $115,000.
