The Haltom City Police Department (HCPD) is seeking assistance in identifying suspects involved in a fatal road rage shooting that occurred on Sunday, September 15, 2024. The incident resulted in the death of a 16-year-old male, who succumbed to his injuries. Due to the victim's age, his identity has not been released. HCPD expressed condolences to the victim's family.
Detectives have identified a suspect vehicle, a 1999 black Honda Accord with a grey hood and grey front-right quarter panel. The vehicle's license plate, FNV9986, has been entered into national and state crime databases. Police warn the suspects may have altered or removed the plate.
The shooting took place near the 4400 block of East Belknap Road between 4:15 and 4:45 AM. HCPD is asking for help from anyone who may have video footage from the area or any information regarding the vehicle or the suspects.
