MacArthur Makes Waves: First Regional Swim Finals Appearance in Over a Decade

MacArthur High School is celebrating a major milestone after four standout swimmers advanced to the FINALS at the 2026 Regional Swimming & Diving Championships, something the program hasn’t accomplished in more than 10 years.

This achievement didn’t happen overnight. Since August 2025, these athletes have shown up at 7:00 a.m. practices, Monday through Friday, putting in the quiet, early-morning work long before most of the school day begins. That kind of consistency builds more than speed. It builds grit.

On Saturday, that discipline paid off in a big way.
