Irving-based, Aegis, named to “Best and Brightest Companies to Work For in the US” by National Association for Business Resources

Aegis, a leading outsourcing services provider and part of the global Essar Group, today was named one of the Best and Brightest Companies to Work For™ in the US by the National Association for Business Resources. The Best and Brightest Companies to Work For program is awarded annually to the companies with the highest quality HR initiatives.

“Our rank among the best and brightest companies to work for is a testimony of our drive to provide exceptional customer experience for our internal as well as external customers,” said Sandip Sen, Global CEO of Aegis. “This award continues Aegis’ tradition of earning recognition for our HR and people management practices. Over the past two years we have been recognized with the Best Employers in India, Australia, and New Zealand 2011 from Aon Hewitt, the NASSCOM Exemplary Talent Practice Award 2011 for talent sourcing, and the Best Indian Company in USA in Technology, awarded by the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce.” Sen added, “We scored well in diversity and inclusion, employee education and development, and community initiatives. These are consistent with our core internal values of creating happy employees, happy customers and happy shareholders.”

Said Jennifer Kluge, NABR president, “Our list of nationally recognized companies has grown significantly this year. This exceptional growth is a testament to how important this designation is for companies that want to have the best and brightest employees working for them. We are proud to recognize and honor these winning companies.”

The 2012 winning companies were assessed by an independent research firm which reviewed a number of key measures relative to other nationally recognized winners. They include compensation, benefits and employee solutions; employee enrichment, engagement and retention; employee education and development; recruitment, selection and orientation; employee achievement and recognition; communication and shared vision; diversity and inclusion; work-life balance; community initiatives; and strategic company performance. The companies that have been selected to be recognized nationally as a Best and Brightest Company to Work For™ were featured in the December 13 online edition of Corp magazine.
