Jason Coleman Honors the Legacy of Floyd Cramer on April 8 in Irving

Jason Coleman
The Entertainment Series of Irving is thrilled to have Jason Coleman back by popular demand! He performed to a packed Irving audience in 2011 and delighted everyone with his talent and personal stories of growing up with his grandfather, the infamous Floyd Cramer, who passed away in 1997.
Floyd Cramer is one of the most admired instrumentalists of all time. His signature piano styling is exemplified by the smash hit, “Last Date”. Floyd’s distinctive sound is still alive and powerful today through the music of his grandson. Jason has been playing the piano since he could reach the keys. After Jason made his Grand Ole Opry debut at age 17, he was given the honor of playing for the Country Music Hall of Fame Medallion Ceremony recognizing his grandfather’s induction into the Hall of Fame.
The concert will start at 7:30 p.m. at Carpenter Performance Hall, 3333 N. MacArthur Blvd., Irving, Texas.  57 years of arts excellence, the Entertainment Series of Irving continues to provide the Irving community and the D/FW metroplex with affordable, family concert entertainment. This project is funded in part by the City of Irving through the Irving Arts Board.
