The Irving Economic Development Partnership, a joint venture between the City of Irving and the Greater Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce, today announced the opening of Taleris, a joint venture between Accenture and GE Aviation. Taleris management earlier this year selected Irving as the location for the new company’s global headquarters.
“Taleris is a natural fit for Irving, which recently was named third in high-tech startups per capital in the nation,” said Tommy Gonzalez, Irving City Manager. “We are always looking for cutting edge-operations that provide high-quality jobs.”
Taleris, which will occupy 27,938 square feet, anticipates employing 100 people within the first year. The company provides intelligent operations aircraft planning and recovery solutions for commercial aviation and currently serves more than 20 customers worldwide, including commercial and cargo. Taleris leverages advanced aircraft prognostics, operational planning, and recovery technologies to help airlines avoid and recover from disruptions. These services significantly reduce airline operational costs in the areas of maintenance, passenger rebooking, crew logistics, and aircraft movement
