Technically the purchase was made by Mercury Radio Arts, the parent company of Glenn Beck’s news network, The Blaze. Beck has been renting space in the 72,000 square foot studio since last year. There were no financial figures released, but now the place known for producing movies like Robocop, JFK, Leap of Faith, and of course Walker, Texas Ranger, will be called Mercury Studios. (This might be a good time to remind you that Beck has more than 300,000 paid subscribers, and that his time since leaving Fox News has been quite lucrative.) rIn other news, Beck gave this speech today at a rally in Washington, D.C. The title: “We Will No Longer Accept the Lies.”
