A global logistics company is moving its headquarters from Illinois to North Texas, bringing hundreds of jobs. Neovia Logistics Services LLC has already rented the new office space in Las Colinas.
The company, which until 2012 was a division of the industrial giant Caterpillar Inc., is taking two floors in the Las Colinas Corporate Center on State Highway 114. That’s the same two-building center where the telecommunications company Nokia is consolidating its North Texas office operations. Neovia, now based in the Chicago suburb of Downers Grove, picked the spot after considering several options.
“We’ve been looking to consolidate our offices,” said Alicia Kan, Neovia’s manager of marketing and communications.
“We’ve decided that Dallas-Fort Worth, and Irving in particular, is a good location because of access to an international airport, good schools and access to a very talented and multicultural labor force.”
