Simon Property Group Inc. announces that Shoppers World is now open at Irving Mall. A full line department store, Shoppers World offers shoppers a variety of merchandise including clothing, shoes, lingerie, accessories and a large selection of school and work uniforms as well as home furnishings, housewares, linens and home decor. Rounding out the retailer’s assortment is a variety of year-round seasonal holiday merchandise and toys. The 38,686-square-foot store will face Belt Line Road and is near the Firestone building. The Irving store marks the second Dallas-area location for the company. A store is scheduled to open in Garland Nov. 14. Shoppers World operates more than 25 department stores in New York, New Jersey, Indiana, Maryland, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio, Illinois and Texas.
