Bill and Lyn Miller, owners of local sub shop Captain Nemo’s in Irving, deliverered nearly 150 gift cards to the Irving Police Station as a show of appreciation and support to police officers.
The cards were purchased by customers for $5 and made into a $10 card by Captain Nemo’s. The donation is to show appreciation for all the officers do to protect and serve Irving.
Chief Larry Boyd accepted the cards.
