A couple of Irving ISD spirit squads helped spread holiday cheer in the community. Members of the Irving High School Toy Tigers and MacArthur High School Cardettes performed before thousands of spectators of the 30th Annual Dallas Holiday Parade on December 2. Back home, Nimitz High School cheerleaders represented the district in the city of Irving’s Holiday Extravaganza. The two-part event features a community parade through the Heritage District, followed by a tree lighting ceremony outside of City Hall.
