Destino performing at 11 a.m. on March 26
Irving, Texas – Destino, the Canadian crossover sensation, is bringing their unique “Popera” sound to Irving. Hans Munoz, Paul Oullette and Joey Niceforo of Destino will perform at 11 a.m. on March 26 in the Irving Arts Center’s Dupree Theater. Tickets are $8 (group tickets are $6).
With classic “boy band” good looks and an even better sound, the trio packs a powerful classical punch. Munoz, Oullette and Niceforo are classically-trained, award-winning tenors who have performed in Canadian opera houses, opera festivals and in concerts around the world. Most recently, Destino performed at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics. Their unique sound combines pop and opera (Popera), jazz, R&B, gospel and soul.

About the Performers
Paul Ouellette – British Columbia native Paul Ouellette has performed in main stage opera roles with Vancouver Opera and Edmonton companies; as a tenor with the Vancouver, Abbotsford and Okanagan symphonies; and in festivals with renowned conductors Bramwell Tovey and Mario Bernardi. Ouellette is a three time consecutive winner of the Western district level of the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions.
Joey Niceforo – Joey Niceforo of Ontario made his professional singing debut at Toronto’s Opera in Canadian Gala Concerts. He has performed in Europe and North America, notably performing in premiers in New York, Santa Barbara and the Czech Republic. Niceforo is a recipient of the Italia Nel Mondo award.
Hans Munoz – Hans Munoz has performed since his early years as a soloist. The Toronto native has appeared on numerous television programs throughout Canada and the United States and was named the overall winner in both Canadian youth talent and rising star competitions.
