A Store Clerk and a Bystander Shot in Dallas Homicide; Teen Arrested

At 12:20 am, Dallas officers working on the NW side of town were dispatched to a convenience store in the 11300 block of Emerald Street for a robbery in progress. When officers arrived, they found two people with gunshot wounds.

Investigators say a fight broke out in the parking lot between the alleged robber (male pictured above), the store clerk, and a bystander. During the fight, the suspect pulled out a gun and shot both the clerk and the bystander.

Both men were transported to a local hospital where one of them died from his injuries and the other remains in critical condition.

The suspect and an accompanying female fled the scene on foot.
