Man Survives Shot to the Head in a Fort Worth Road Rage Incident

The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating a shooting secondary to a road rage incident this evening near I35W and Rosedale Street.

At 7:06 pm on Jan. 10, Fort Worth police officers were dispatched to the 7-11 convenience store near I35W and Rosedale Street for a shooting. Officers located a driver with a gunshot wound to the head.

The victim told police he was driving northbound on I35W when a road rage incident occurred between himself and another driver. The other driver pulled out a gun and shot it into the victim’s vehicle, striking him in the head. The suspect then fled the scene in a dark colored sedan.

MedStar paramedics transported the victim to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. His condition is reported as stable.

The incident remains under investigation.
