In the exciting conclusion of the 37th annual GrapeFest – A Texas Wine Experience, presented by Bank of the West, attendees witnessed fierce competition and outstanding performances, with local participants shining brightly among the winners. The GrapeFest Grand Stomp-Off, sponsored by Thryv, and the prestigious Purple Foot Award found its deserving recipients in the dynamic duo of Alex Miranda from Irving and Jonathan Espinoza from Dallas, who formed the formidable team known as "Team Random."
In a thrilling and tightly contested final stomp, "Team Random" showcased their skills and determination by pressing an impressive 34 ounces of grape juice in a mere two minutes, securing their victory by a narrow margin of three-quarters of an ounce. Their outstanding performance not only earned them the coveted Purple Foot Award but also solidified their place as the champions of the GrapeFest Grand Stomp-Off.
