The Catholic Charities Mobile Community Pantry is set to provide fresh food to those in need in the Irving community. This initiative is made possible by the support of Catholic Charities Dallas and the listed hosts. The Mobile Food Pantry will operate as a drive-through service, and participants are kindly asked to ensure their vehicle trunks are empty of other items.
Eligibility for food assistance is open to several groups, including:
- Families facing temporary crises due to natural disasters and homelessness, who are automatically eligible.
- Families receiving government benefits like SNAP, TANF, SSI, NSLP, Medicare, and Medicaid. No proof is required for eligibility.
- Families who fall within the Federal Poverty Guidelines, also eligible without the need for proof.
To receive food assistance, individuals are required to provide one form of identification. Once registered as a CCD Client, food assistance can be received once per month, any day of the month.
