Tragedy Strikes Air Evac Lifeteam as Three Crew Members Lose Lives in Oklahoma Incident

Air Evac Lifeteam is grieving the loss of three crew members following an incident that occurred on Saturday, January 20. At 11:23 pm local time, the Operations Control Center (OCC) of Air Evac Lifeteam lost contact with the aircraft, identified as a Bell 206L3 with the call sign N295AE. The crew, based in Weatherford, OK, was returning to base after completing a patient care transport in Oklahoma City when the OCC lost contact.

Upon losing contact, nearby Air Evac Lifeteam teams immediately joined forces with local law enforcement in the search efforts. Despite their best efforts, the tragic outcome was confirmed.

The primary focus at this time is on providing support to the families affected by this devastating incident and the Air Evac Lifeteam community.
