City of Dallas Launches ArtsActivate 2024-25 Funding Round for Cultural Projects

The City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture (OAC) has announced the opening of Round 1 of ArtsActivate, scheduled to run from July 3, 2024, to July 29, 2024. Interested parties can apply by visiting artsactivate.com.

ArtsActivate, launching for the 2024-25 fiscal year, is the OAC’s project-based cultural support program aimed at non-profit arts/cultural organizations, educational institutions, social services organizations, individual artists, artist collectives, and other eligible non-profit organizations. Individual artists may receive up to $8,000 in funding, while 501c3 non-profit organizations can receive up to $16,000 based on revenue size. The program aims to fund artistic events that activate communities throughout Dallas, align with the Dallas Cultural Plan 2018, and advance the OAC’s mission of fostering an inclusive arts environment for all Dallas artists and residents.

ArtsActivate 2025 will feature three rounds of applications throughout the 2024-25 fiscal year, each accompanied by information sessions, office hours, and applicant support to address inquiries. For details on support dates and times, please consult artsactivate.com.

Spanish-speaking applicants are encouraged to apply, with guidelines available in Spanish on the program’s website. Moreover, applicants can request information sessions, office hours, and application support in Spanish or with a Spanish translator with 48 hours’ notice by emailing OACFundingPrograms@dallas.gov.
