The Irving Police Department is requesting the public's assistance in locating 73-year-old Jose Eliziar Tobar, who was last seen on foot early Monday morning at 6:30 a.m. near Collins Drive and Fourth Street in South Irving.
Mr. Tobar is described as 6 feet 4 inches tall, weighing approximately 144 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a yellow and green t-shirt, light blue pants, and brown boots. He has been diagnosed with diabetes and other health issues.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact the Irving Police Department at (972) 273-1010 or dial 911 immediately.
UPDATE - August 13, 2024 @ 2:50 PM: Mr. Tobar was found deceased in the 200 block of Sowers Rd (about 1.2 miles from where he went missing). The Dallas County Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
