Mansfield and FC Dallas Breaks Ground on Staybolt Street Entertainment District

The City of Mansfield held a groundbreaking ceremony on Monday, August 19, to mark the beginning of construction on a new entertainment district on Heritage Parkway.

The district, named Staybolt Street, will include a multi-sport stadium with a seating capacity of approximately 7,000. The City will own the stadium, while REV Entertainment and FC Dallas will manage its operations and programming.

The 100-acre district will feature one of the first High5 Entertainment venues in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex, offering attractions such as bowling alleys, arcade games, and a rooftop concert venue.

The name Staybolt Street pays homage to Mansfield’s history, referencing the staybolt used in the steam-powered mill built in 1860 by Julian Feild and Ralph Man, symbolizing unity and energy.

The facility is scheduled to open in Spring 2026 and will cater to both youth and elite athletics.

“Staybolt Street will be a gamechanger for the Mansfield community,” said Mayor Michael Evans. “For a long time, Mansfield has had a reputation as one of the best places to live and now with Staybolt, it’ll be known as an exceptional place to play.”

“We are honored to partner with the City of Mansfield and FC Dallas on the Mansfield Stadium project,” said Sean Decker, President of REV Entertainment. “This groundbreaking is a landmark moment for the City, and marks the first step towards endless opportunities that will be available in the Entertainment District.”

“Providing opportunities for communities across North Texas to play and experience soccer is an important part of what we do at FC Dallas,” said FC Dallas Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer Jimmy Smith. “We’re thrilled to work with the City of Mansfield and REV on this project to help grow the game and introduce more fans to the sport.”
