Ballet Ensemble of Texas Unveils Exciting 2024-2025 Season at Coppell and Irving

The Ballet Ensemble of Texas (BET), a leading pre-professional ballet company in Dallas, has unveiled its 2024-2025 season. The lineup includes productions of DRACULA - Ballet with a Bite, THE NUTCRACKER, and GAÎTÉ PARISIENNE. Performances will take place at the Irving Arts Center (IAC) and the Coppell Arts Center (CAC).

The season will open with DRACULA - Ballet with a Bite on October 26, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. at the CAC. The production will offer unique twists on the classic tale. Associated events include “The Vein Drain,” a blood drive in collaboration with the Carter Blood Center on October 19, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the BET studios. Additional activities will include “Drinks with Dracula” and a “Fiendish Frock Fashion Fantasy,” a costume parade at the performance.

THE NUTCRACKER will be presented in four performances: December 7 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., and December 8 at 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. The updated 2022 production will feature guest artists Breanne Granlund and Carlos Gonzalez, soloists with American Ballet Theatre, along with over 200 young dancers from the Ballet Academy of Texas.

The season will conclude with a BET revival of GAÎTÉ PARISIENNE during the annual CELEBRATION OF DANCE. Performances are scheduled for April 5, 2025, at 7:00 p.m., April 6, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., and additional student outreach performances on April 11, 2025, with a public performance on April 12, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at the IAC.

BET, affiliated with the Ballet Academy of Texas, trains dancers recognized by prominent pre-professional programs and features alumni in companies such as Colorado Ballet, Ballet West, Ballet Arkansas, and American Ballet Theatre.
