Grapevine Police have issued an Athena Alert, which may appear as an AMBER Alert on billboards and social media, as they search for a missing 9-year-old boy. The search is concentrated around Mustang Drive and Tanglewood. Residents and business owners in the area are urged to check their doorbell or security cameras for any potential sightings of the child.
Zavien Keyes, a Black male, 4’9” tall, weighing 90 pounds, was last seen wearing a black shirt with a gold Spider-Man design, green pants, and possibly carrying a blue backpack. Family members report that Zavien missed his bus this morning and left home to walk to Glenhope Elementary School but did not arrive.
Police are actively searching the neighborhood, surrounding parks, and Zavien’s route to school. They are also reviewing surveillance video in the area to determine his direction of travel. Grapevine Police are collaborating with Colleyville PD and Grapevine-Colleyville ISD.
