The Farmers Branch Police Department is investigating the death of 33-year-old Nilzuly Arneaud Petit of Dallas, who was discovered by a passing motorist near the 1100 block of Valley View Lane around 3:40 a.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2024.
According to detectives, Petit was forcibly taken along with two juveniles from an apartment complex on Fair Oaks Crossing in Dallas around 12:30 a.m. The suspects, whose identities remain unknown, transported the victim to the location in Farmers Branch where he was shot. The suspects then fled the scene with the juveniles in a light-colored four-door sedan.
The two juveniles were later found unharmed walking on the I-35 service road by Lewisville Police officers.
Farmers Branch detectives are collaborating with the Dallas Police Department to identify the suspects and are pursuing multiple leads.
