On Tuesday, September 3, at approximately 5:55 a.m., Garland Police responded to a report of a gunshot wound in the vicinity of Glenfield Drive and Cumberland Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered an unresponsive male with an apparent gunshot wound. The individual was pronounced dead at the scene.
Garland detectives are actively investigating the incident to determine the circumstances leading up to the shooting. No arrests have been made, and the victim's identity has not been released.
