On August 29, 2024, a Tarrant County jury found 35-year-old Christian Rosas guilty of Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child. The Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney's Office said that the Rosas was sentenced to 30 years in prison.
The crime dates back to 2013 when Rosas began sexually abusing a 7-year-old girl. The abuse lasted until she was 9.
The case was prosecuted by Idris Akinpelu and Hilary Wright. The investigation was handled by the Fort Worth Police Department and the Alliance for Children.
