Dallas Police Seek Public’s Help in Identifying Suspects in Two Animal Cruelty Cases on Dowdy Ferry Road

The Dallas Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect and/or suspect vehicle involved in two animal cruelty cases where animals were abandoned at the same location.

In a first incident, on June 3, 2024, at approximately 5:15 p.m., a male suspect was seen exiting a red SUV with a black hardtop in the 2400 block of Dowdy Ferry Road. The suspect opened the back door of the vehicle, allowing a Pitbull-type dog to exit, and left the dog at the location. This investigation is ongoing and documented under case number 086508-2024.

The second incident occurred on June 18, 2024, at approximately 12:05 p.m. A male suspect exited a dark-colored car in the 2400 block of Dowdy Ferry Road, opened the front passenger door, and released two Cane Corso dogs before leaving the scene. This investigation is documented under case number 094077-2024.
