On Friday, September 6, 2024, at approximately 6:26 p.m., officers from the Fort Worth Police Department's West Division responded to the 5200 block of Bryant Irvin Rd. in reference to a fatal crash investigation. Upon arrival, officers found that one of the drivers involved in the two-vehicle accident had been pronounced deceased at the scene by medical personnel. The driver of the other vehicle sustained injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.
Officers are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office will determine the identity, manner, and cause of death of the deceased after notifying the next of kin. The Fort Worth Police Traffic Investigations Unit is handling the investigation.
