On September 7, 2024, at approximately 8:20 PM, Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 5700 block of Highland Hills Drive in southeast Dallas. Upon arrival, officers discovered 26-year-old Tamesha Hicks with gunshot wounds in a vehicle. Hicks was transported to a local hospital but succumbed to her injuries on September 10, 2024.
The investigation revealed that Hicks was shot in the 3200 block of Persimmon Road.
